A lot of things have changed since CRF was founded in 1971. But one thing will never change.
CRF is all about giving hope to children living in poverty.
Everything that we do – whether it’s increasing water access, providing disaster relief, or planting churches – begins with our desire to help children grow up to be like Jesus.
In celebration of fifty years of giving hope, we are launching a sponsorship challenge!

Sponsor a child
We are dedicated to holistic growth for children living in poverty.
By sponsoring a child through CRF, you are joining in God’s mission to give help and hope to children in need.
Each child in our program is matched with only one sponsor.
You and your sponsored child will be able to develop a personal, life-giving and encouraging relationship through letter writing, photos, and frequent updates.
You can even visit your child in person to see how your commitment of sponsorship has made a difference in their life!
What does my Sponsored Child receive?
$35 a month provides your sponsored child with:
• The life-changing opportunity to attend school
• Nourishing food and access to clean water
• Medical care including regular health check-ups
• New clothes and shoes
• Participation in extracurricular activities and clubs
• Spiritual guidance and Biblical teaching
What can I expect?
When you sponsor a child, you will receive:
• A New Sponsor packet with your child’s story and photo
• Information about how to write your child
• A new photo of your child at least once per year
• At least 2 letters from your child each year
• Academic report cards

Our Child Sponsorship Model
CRF’s sponsorship program is dedicated to helping children grow up to be like Jesus by caring for their entire being, and ensuring they are developing intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially.
Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.

Intellectually
“Jesus grew in wisdom…”
Children receive a quality education without fear of being sent away from school because they cannot afford the fees. New shoes and a school uniform will allow them to focus on their studies instead of worrying about meeting dress code.
Physically
“Jesus grew in stature…”
Children receive nourishing meals and clean water that provide vitamins and nutrients that prevent them from missing school due to illness. They also receive regular wellness checks to make sure they continue to grow into healthy, young adults.
Spiritually
“Jesus grew in favor with God…”
Children are encouraged to attend church in their communities and receive spiritual guidance and biblical training from pastors, teachers and CRF field workers at their schools. They grow up learning of God’s love and how to share that love with those around them.
Socially
“Jesus grew in favor with man…”
Children learn good citizenship through sports, arts and academic clubs, Boy/Girl Scouts, Bible studies, and much more. These activities help them learn to work hard, have compassion, and take responsibility for leading in their communities for the glory of God.
